1. In which program did you participate?
AB Volvo Group Graduate Programme
2. Why were you interested in participating in a Volvo Group Graduate Program?
Great possibility to discover the company as well as to start building networks within the whole group.
3. Tell us something about your experience in the program -- what did you like about it?
Anything you didn't like? I am really satisfied with the program so far. It offers a genuine introduction to all our companies. The program also enables an enormous chance to start building networks within the whole group. I am especially pleased with the setup of my program. The main reason is that I am fortunate to work very close to my supervisor, which has enabled an outstanding possibility to understand the complexity of selling trucks to demanding customers.
4. How would you describe the culture of Volvo Group?( i.e. what do you think is distinctive about how we do things in Volvo Group ?)
To stay competitive in a global environment we need to have a humble attitude towards both colleagues and our customers. I believe that the road to success heavily depends on our acceptance of heterogeneous teams and our ability to use these teams to provide customers with outstanding products demanded by our customers. Even though my experience from the Volvo Group is limited I do think that our culture is heavily characterized by a humble attitude. Finally, I believe that we are working hard with diversity issues, which is a must when working together in heterogeneous groups.
5. Based on your own experience, why do you think someone should consider working for a Volvo Group company?
If you are willing to work in a global environment with demanding customers, forcing us to collaborate with people from all around the world you should consider Volvo as a really good alternative. If you have a humble attitude towards working together with both internal and external customers you should definitely apply for a job within the Volvo Group.
