2. Why were you interested in participating in a Volvo Group Graduate Program?
Being a recent graduate, and knowing I would start my career at an entry-level, I found the greatest appeal in searching for positions that provided a broadened work experience. I was interested in the program primarily because I felt it would allow me to get a holistic view of the company and provide me with invaluable exposure to a variety of departments and functions.
3. Tell us something about your experience in the program -- what did you like about it? Anything you didn't like?
My overall experience in the program was positive. I was fortunate to have the guidance that was provided, as well as the opportunity to gain experience in the different individual departments.
4. How would you describe the culture of Volvo Group?( i.e.what do you think is distinctive about how we do things in Volvo Group ?)
As a new hire rotating within Mack Trucks I found everyone to be very helpful and informative. They were very passionate about the "bulldog culture" and created a professional and friendly work environment.
5. Based on your own experience, why do you think someone should consider working for a Volvo Group company?
The Volvo Group is a great company to work for because it has representation all across the globe, with a vast array of business units from truck manufacturing, to construction equipment, to buses, to marine applications. The Volvo Group provides an opportunity to be exposed to various parts of the company practically anywhere.
