Volvo Group Business Areas encompasses Construction Equipment, Buses, Volvo Penta, Governmental Sales, Volvo Financial Services and is headed by Håkan Karlsson.

Construction Equipment develops, manufactures and sells a number of different types of equipment for construction applications and related industries.

Volvo Buses develops, manufactures and sells complete buses and bus chassis for city, intercity and tourist operations.

  • Prevost is a subsidiary of Volvo Bus Corporation and a leading manufacturer of premium intercity touring coaches in North America and the world leader in the production of conversion coaches for high-end motorhome and specialty conversion. Prevost has its main manufacturing facilities in Sainte-Claire, Quebec, Canada and has seven Parts and Service Centers located in the United States and Canada.
  • Nova Bus is part of the Volvo Bus Corporation and is a leading North American provider of sustainable transit solutions, including environmentally-friendly buses, high-capacity vehicles and integrated intelligent transportation systems. The company operates 3 plants: two in Canada and one in the United States.
Volvo Penta develops, manufactures and sells engines and drive systems for marine duties. Volvo Penta also supplies engines for various industrial applications.

Governmental Sales is responsible for the Group’s sales to government authorities and organisations.

Volvo Financial Services delivers competitive financial solutions to Volvo Group customers.
