I joined Volvo Company in 2001 as a Secretary. At that time the company was very small, only 150 employees for the whole Russia. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere in the office - that what amazed me.
I worked as a Secretary for two years. During this time, the company was growing, and my responsibilities also, I started to be more as an office administrator, responsible for the hotel, flights booking, visas, office functioning.
In 2003 I was offered to take over the position of the assistant in VCE sales department. Besides standard assistant functions, my manager involved me in several different projects, taught and developed me. I completed several number of trainings on construction equipment. I felt responsible and that was the main motivating aspect for me.
Since 2005 I am working as a machine Order Handling Manager. For me it was a huge step forward, and company's respect and recognition index. There are three employees in my department. It is growing together with the growing business. We place the orders in different factories all over the world. It a very important job we are doing, because the final result depends on us - the client receives the machine according the required specification and on time. Weekly and monthly reports, which we generate, help to track the information on machines and additional equipment. Very responsible and interesting job!
