1. How did you come to join the Volvo Group?
I joined VFS in 2006 when I moved with my family from Moscow to Saint Petersburg. I was looking for new challenges in new city and in new environment. One of my dreams was to become a member of a strong team in an international corporation with a strong business brand. At that time Volvo offered me an interesting position of Financial Analyst in its Leasing company. So I could use my experience in finance for a big well-known company, real leader of the market. It's a big honor for me to develop my carrier in Volvo Group.
2. Tell us about your current role and its main responsibilities.
My current position in VFS is North-West branch director, located in Saint Petersburg. My current main responsibility is to supervise the branch with 14 employees. Moreover I am in charge of commercial function in that region, responsible for new customers attraction and existing customers servicing. I am responsible for strengthening the Volvo Financial Service relations and position in the market. My task is to anticipate and perfect new possibilities of company development in the market. It is also my task to monitor financial services market situation in order to have up-to-date information on financial products, terms of financing, special campaigns delivered in North-West region by VFS competitors.
3. Have you had other roles and assignments in the Group? What would you like to do in the future in the Group?
I started my carrier in VFS as a Financial Analyst. Working in Russia, as in one of developing and growing markets gives huge opportunities. Now as a Branch director in the nearest future I would like to focus more on strengthening the Volvo Financial Service relations and position in the market in order to perfect new possibilities of company development in the North-West region of Russia and get more experience. I am sure that in the future my knowledge and experience will be useful for Volvo Group in other countries.
4. How would you describe the culture of Volvo Group? (i.e. what do you think is distinctive about how we do things in Volvo Group ?)
Volvo is a multinational company and during my work I meet with different cultures, European, American and Russian. But all Volvo employees act as a team, i.e. work and get results all together, cooperating and living as one big family - this is Volvo culture. And this is our advantage, because building our culture means building strong team.
5. Why do you think someone should consider working for a Volvo Group company?
Volvo is a real leader, and working with leader you also become a leader and can be sure in your future. Strong company, strong business brand, and strong team of professionals - all these important factors are fully presented in Volvo, and make our company a great place to work. Volvo is growing, and we are growing together with our employer.
