We clearly define our key leadership values – and that give us at Volvo Group significant strength. It means that we know what our goals are and what we must do to achieve them.

Since we have a sound understanding of the abilities and values required for successful leadership, we have the opportunity to evaluate the qualities of potential new leaders before they are hired. It also allows us to develop and enhance the leader's performance once in the job.

We use a leadership program known as the Leadership Pipeline to identify, value and develop our leaders and to guide them throughout their careers.
We guide our leaders growth through exposure to broad and deep work experience, with development programs and through other alternatives, like coaching and being a teacher in the organisation.

Our leadership approach is driven by values that are in tune with the Volvo Way of doing business and the company's focus on commercial hard and soft products.
