Irish Commercial (Sales) Ltd has confirmed an order for 95 Volvo FE snowplough/spreader chassis to replace the Highways Agency’s winter service fleet. This is the largest new truck order ever placed by the Volvo Dealer Network in Ireland and is also believed to be the biggest-ever order for new Volvo FE vehicles.

The strong position of the Volvo FM within the regional distribution segment is further strengthened with the release of a new version of this well-proven truck.

Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, will become a host port for the 2010-2012 Volvo Ocean Race. A racing team from Abu Dhabi will also take its place on the start line of the race in Alicante, Spain in the autumn of next year.
