The Board of Directors of AB Volvo has on February 1, 2001, decided to repurchase up to 10 percent of the Company's shares, whereof 5 percent has been transferred to Renault S.A. as final payment for Mack Trucks and Renault V.I.

Styrelsen i AB Volvo har den 1 februari 2001, beslutat om återköp av högst 10 procent av bolagets aktier, varav fem procent har överlåtits till Renault S.A. som slutlikvid för förvärvet av Mack Trucks och Renault V.I.

Volvo Aero has signed an agreement with the United Kingdom MoD (Ministry of Defence) for the overhaul of a number of helicopter engines.
