Volvo IT is expanding in China and a national competition among IT students helped attract top-talent university students. Three of them will now join the mission as Volvo IT crew members at the next Volvo Ocean race stop in Sanya, China. They will soon show if they have what it takes to work with IT at the extreme.

The number of votes in AB Volvo has changed due to the conversion of a total of 4 529 Series A shares to a total of 4 529 Series B shares. The conversions were implemented with the support of the opportunity for Series A shareholders to request conversion of Series A shares to Series B shares, which was entered in the Articles of Association at the 2011 Annual General Meeting.

AB Volvo hereby invites the media to a press conference on February 3 2012 in conjunction with the release of the Volvo Group full year report for 2011. The press conference will take place 09:00 at Tändstickspalatset in Stockholm.

Olle Högblom, 50, has been appointed President of Volvo IT. Olle Högblom is currently Senior Vice President Infrastructure & Operations at Volvo IT in Gothenburg, Sweden. The appointment is effective immediately.
