Assuming responsibility
Responsibility is deeply rooted within Volvo Group and is based on our values and the principles in our Code of Conduct. We strive to assume economic, environmental and social responsibility for our operations, products and services within our sphere of influence in the value chain. Our commitment is reflected and implemented in policies, decisions and actions.

Code of Conduct
 The Code of Conduct is the Group’s policy for Corporate Social Responsibility. The Code expresses the principles for conducting business in an appropriate, responsible and transparent manner. It is the minimum level of behavior and is mandatory for all Group companies.

Already in 1982 we adopted our first ethical guidelines, the predecessor of today's Code of Conduct. The current policy was adopted by the Board of Directors in 2003.

Volvo Group strives to be transparent about our performance, ambitions and strategies. We are periodically assessed by the investor community, industry associations, and organizations on our environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.
