Volvo Technology Transfer AB (VTT)
Is a Corporate Venture Capital company with a history that reaches back to 1983 when Volvo was a member of the European Round Table and Euroventures. AB Volvo started Volvo Venture Management in 1996 which became Volvo Technology Transfer in 1997. Volvo Technology Transfer AB shall create value by developing and supporting new businesses with relevance for the Volvo Group.
VTT has three main tasks:
VTT has competence in the areas of business development, finance, management and law
VTT has a number of criteria to consider an investment in a company.
VTT have developed a process for investing in and growing ideas and companies.
