Supply Network Resiliency & Project Management (SNR&PM) Purchasing is a global organization within Group Truck Purchasing (GTP) with holistic responsibility over the Product Project portfolio, Volume & Supplier Capacity Planning, Supplier Development and Crisis Management. We deliver customer value via End-to-End product evolution ownership & resilient supply network. We enable the best Performance & Customer Success outcomes while fully coordinated with GTT (Group Truck Technology) and GTO (Group Truck Operation) and Volvo Brands within efficient governance structure.

We are looking for a new Project Manager Purchasing (PMP) within Project Office BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) one area of the Purchasing Project Management Community.
This is a fantastic team with a great mix of nationalities, experiences, and strong collaboration attitude, supporting to develop each other’s.

As PMP, you would be accountable to lead and manage purchasing activities such as timely sourcing, vendor budget, quality assurance and risk management. Your responsibility is to secure the readiness of E-mobility projects for HD scope working hands in hands with the GTP Lines organizations. You will be a key player in the cross-functional product development teams. You will act and deliver in a large network requesting strong cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

Within SNR & PM department, you will work in close collaboration with SNR colleagues to secure a readiness at product launch and thus contribute to our customer success.
We look for you who come up with new ideas to support the transformation journey and have the natural ability to deal with various contexts such as new technologies and challenging time plans.
