POSITION TITLE: Supplier Quality & EDI Manager Volvo Group North America LLC

LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT: 100 Gateway Global Drive, Byhalia Mississippi 38661

POSITION DUTIES: SML is a part of the Volvo Group that will develop, manage and optimize the Service market Supply Chain (aftermarket parts distribution to dealer network) for all Volvo Group brands. This position is responsible for supplier quality on all delivered parts. Develops and enforces quality initiatives and procedures to meet Volvo guidelines and governmental regulations. Function as
EDI subject matter expert resolving all EDI issues. Oversee the work of Quality Auditors and identify areas of improvement. Initiate and drive corrective action on all issues related to EDI

REQUIRMENTS: 84 months providing quality support in a logistics or warehousing environment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Subject matter expert in EDI and EDI problem solving. Comprehensive knowledge of inventory quality systems, tools and procedures. Extensive knowledge on EDI (EDIFACT, Odette and ANSIx12 formats) and transport labels (Odette and AIAD formats) Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and experience in implementation. Ability to resolve and institute corrective actions on issues related to EDI or ASN. Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings for products as well as EDI specifications and guidelines. Knowledge and experience with lean systems and tools. Knowledge on requirements and implementation of commercial packaging specifically for aftermarket business as well as transportation packaging and requirements to ensure parts quality upon delivery.
