REPORTS TO: ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION MANAGER
Under the direction of the Volvo Operations Concept:
● Performs work according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
● Performs Autonomous maintenance
● Performs Autonomous safety
● Performs quick kaizens
● Takes other assignments, according to Star point concept
Keep up with production number needs agreed by Management team
Clean and prepare components for painting
Paint components, decals, labels and prepare for storage or shipment
Paint room and equipment maintenance and house keeping
Aesthetic quality of finished goods and shipping stands
PRINCIPAL POSITION ACTIVITIES

They are expected to take positive action to improve quality and customer satisfaction and expected to prevent and correct situations that could reduce quality and customer satisfaction.
In addition to the following main duties for which this position is accountable, others may be performed as required:
Prepare components for painting to include steam cleaning and masking as required.
Paint components, labels and decals as required
Prepare components for storage and shipment.
Manage inventory of paint supplies
Service and maintain paint booth equipment and disposal of all materials
JOB SKILL SET
High School Diploma or equivalent
Operate Forklift and shop equipment
Trained in paint booth operation safety
AM and AA Calendar
Protective clothing and Hood required when painting.
Fit test required for paint hood.
High level of alertness at all times.
Safety glasses and ear plugs required while steaming and blowing parts.
