Lead research/analysis of key market players (both current and emerging) and program management of our customer experience activities in North America. Use data and research to strengthen our customer relationships, outperform our competitors and promote change in the organization.

Market Intelligence team’s mission is to enhance business decision making and organizational performance through actionable market insights. We work closely with leadership and both of our North American truck brands, Mack and Volvo, to provide intelligence related to performance, market analysis/forecasting, and our customers/competitors.

This is how you could make an impact
  • Govern the investments and budget of the North American customer experience program; advising and coordinating efficient investment paths for the group to promote best-in-class customer experience across the organization.
  • Lead deep dive customer insights projects (focus groups, driver interviews, brand image, etc.) all the way from project recommendations and set-up to analysis and guidance based on results.
  • Drive micro-level truck intelligence on our key competitors/customers and communicate key insights/early-warnings with leadership. Track and interpret movements related to strategy, financials, leadership, investments, partnerships, production, product launches, market movements, etc.
  • Develop new ways to communicate and visualize information. Use programs like Power BI to create actionable dashboards and tools that will drive fast and effective decision making across the organization.
Who are you?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or similar, Masters preferred.
  • 5-10 years experience with market research and data analytics.
  • 5+ years experience with project management.
  • 5+ years experience within the customer experience / insights field.
  • 3+ years experience presenting to executive management.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and foster collaboration cross-functionally, with wide range of departments, diverse people and backgrounds.
  • Strong background with project management related customer insights projects (focus groups, surveys, interviews, etc.).
  • Background with CEM programs (Qualtrics, Medallia, etc.).
  • Advanced user of data analytics software (Power BI, QlikView, Databricks, and others.)
  • Background with web crawling and research software (Meltwater, Alphasense, and others.)
  • Strong background with commercial truck industry data sources and research companies, including Polk IHSM, RigDig, Dun & Bradstreet, etc..
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze and summarize information, identifying patterns/trends and significance.
  • Strong teamwork and work ethic.
