Position: Recruitment Lead

Summary:
Provide knowledge and expertise in talent acquisition including candidate attraction and selection, recruitment techniques, and assessments, Develop and execute a talent sourcing strategy. Develop a roadmap for immediate and long-term hiring goals for professional, executive and campus recruiting functions, with a focus on Volvo core values, for the Volvo group.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Developing creative strategies to secure top-tiered talent utilizing prior experience with successful tools and channels.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to build and execute strategies to convert passive talent into a strategic pipeline talent.
  • Manage a team of 2-5 sourcers and provide ongoing support and development that continues to strengthen and grow the team’s sourcing and recruiting abilities.
  • Experience with social-media hiring (Linkedin, Twitter, FB etc.), technology-focused forums (GitHub, StackOverflow etc.) and other sourcing channels
  • Experience utilizing Boolean search strings across multiple channels and passionate about creative sourcing
  • Identify and engage with both passive and active talent through use of Boolean, LinkedIn, Social Media, and creative search techniques
  • Drawing on recruitment expertise and best practice to enhance the company's employer brand in the market, drive high candidate engagement and support business objectives.
  • Implement and improve sourcing strategies in ways that lead to measurable results in recruiting metrics (e.g., response rates, time to fill, conversion rates, hires, lower third-party agency utilization).
  • Development and ongoing management of recruitment marketing programs, campaigns that drive results to solve specific business challenges. Using Digital /online/ offline channels, to create business segment identity and transformation.
  • Manage the sourcing process including allocation of the workload across the sourcing team by overseeing the volume, activities and results.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives that target and identify talent for a wide range of roles, including hard-to-fill or niche positions.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement to existing sourcing processes, procedures and systems.
  • Create and deliver sourcing training modules across India, UA and EMEA to both sourcers and recruiters.
  • Identify best in class sourcing tools to support the sourcing strategy.
  • Identify external trends and innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques to maintain competitive edge.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to the Talent Acquisition leadership and business leadership by sharing market data, identifying and making recommendations on industry standards, market availability and talent shortages.
  • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
  • Manage vendor relationships and employee referral for sourcing optimally to hire best talent.
Preferred Experience & knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience sourcing with good understanding of full life-cycle recruiting
  • Experience from working in a global organization preferred
  • Experience in staffing and the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Experience in building and executing a talent acquisition strategy.
  • Knowledge of hiring though Social Media and professional networking sites like LinkedIn.com
Required Competency:
  • Ability to develop recommendations and implement solutions to promote ongoing improvements.
  • Ability to maintain confidence and professionalism when leading others through ambiguous and complex situations.
  • Advanced understanding of sourcing techniques and tools to identify, nurture, and hire passive talent
  • Proven experience in Talent Mapping, Research and Competitive Intelligence
  • Passion for building diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and client service skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Data and analytical orientation to develop meaningful metrics
  • Experience in creating & using complex boolean search strings
  • Experience in developing social media sourcing and branding strategies to attract top talent.
  • Have experience in the talent landscape researching and presenting it to the stakeholders.
  • Maintains business relationships with senior HR and/or line management . He/She is an expert in talent sourcing skills, search ,market information. All sourcers report into him/her and he/she reports to recruitment head of the country /regions he /she supports
  • Responsible for sourcing and identifying talents through various sourcing channels . Expertise in identifying the best channel.
  • Perform pre-screening & interviewing as per Job requisitions, and he guides his team in best ways of doing screening
  • Responsible for publishing weekly, monthly dashboards to Recruitment head and the recruitment lead he/she supports .
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Employer Branding, the Volvo Groups global recruiting organization, recruitment strategies and trends.
  • Responsible for meeting set KPI’s & SLA’s.
  • Ensures the set guidelines by the Volvo Group ( Sourcing Guidelines, Job posting Guideline, Recruitment Policy, etc) are followed.
  • Building and maintaining a competitive intelligence & database of resources to create a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Responsible for training, development, motivation and retention of his team.
