We are a team of twelve Logistics Specialists, Engineers and Project Managers focused on creating, optimizing the full flow of parts through the end-to-end supply chain and supporting the processes of transporting material throughout the facility, as well as, to Production areas on time, in an efficient manner and with a Continuous Improvement mindset. Job Description:
This position will have a focus on managing the end-to-end logistics within Industrial and Product projects at the Hagerstown Powertrain Facility. Activities and responsibilities will include creating operational plans, identifying project deliverables, monitoring progress, documenting potential risks, resolving logistics impacts, and minimizing delays. This position requires an experienced professional with the ability to analyze, interpret, and develop intra-plant logistics initiatives working with cross functional teams such as, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Packaging, Finance, and Logistics Engineering to implement new processes and manage change.

Required knowledge/experience
  • A BSc or MSc in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain related field and 3 years’ experience
  • Or 5+ years of relative experience required preferably in Logistics in an industrial or manufacturing environment in automotive or related industry
  • Valid work permit for the applied country if not a citizen
  • You have a passion for developing people, operations and products and are a communicative team player that values the full diversity of the team
  • Ability and flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.
