CAD Senior Engineer - Powertrain Strategic Development

The Powertrain Strategic Development department plans and secures execution of major advanced engineering epics to prepare our products for 2025-2035. We are 90 passionate engineers worldwide, committed to improving our products for customers and society.
Within Strategic Development, the Concept team integrates new technologies to build complete powertrain systems that brings the highest possible customer value. We explore new technologies by utilizing our network, analysis, designing, modeling, and testing. We deliver proofs of concept of new combustion engine-, hybrids- and fuel cell powertrains.
Responsibilities
As CAD Senior Engineer your main responsibility is to create, develop and mature new hardware parts and systems in our epics and as well as in external cooperation programs. Your design and package novel concepts in 2D and 3D environments, in daily interactions with the epics teams (project manager, system architects, verification leaders…).
This position, based in Saint-Priest, reports to the director of the Concept team in France.
Qualifications
You have a true passion for innovation, in addition to a good knowledge of Powertrain technologies. You are well known for your creativity and ability to convert your ideas and concepts into viable technical and architectural virtual solutions in CAD (CREO).
You are a team player interacting through a broad network. You have the abilities to prioritize and focus the work on the main areas, but also to constantly re-evaluate in our rapidly changing environment. You are comfortable in making clear recommendations in complex matters, while standing up for the values of our company.
In addition to:
At least Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with powertrain product development
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with advanced CAD work
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
