If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group’s global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several “on-the-job” rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.
Position – Logistics Methods Engineer

At the central warehouse for Renault Trucks aftermarket business worldwide, we deliver spare parts towards 120 countries either directly towards our dealers, or towards support warehouses. Guided by the Continuous Improvement, the central warehouse provides a dynamic and pleasant working environment. Customer Satisfaction is our priority, and we aim at being a key player in the Volvo Group.
This is us, your new team:
Within the central warehouse of spare parts for Renault Trucks, we are a production unit covering inbound, commercial packaging, storage and outbound picking (150 people). We have a strong culture of continuous improvement and want to become even better! Hence looking forward to get you onboard.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Identify improvement and optimization factors of the logistic operations. Therefore, you use standard methods such as Value Stream Mapping or Problem Solving Methods. You take in charge or participate to the implementation of the defined solutions in the warehouse.
Drive the continuous improvement in the warehouse in order to optimize safety, quality, service and efficiency performance. You take in charge improvement and you spread your knowledge in this area.
Work on investments projects in the Warehouse. You study the feasibility & profitability of new investment, define requirements, and evaluate potential suppliers up to implementation.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A BSc or MSc in engineering science, computer science, business administration or logistics
  • Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation
  • Solid English skills (some graduate positions will also acquire local language skills)
  • You enjoy working with others, are a communicative team player with the aspiration to develop both yourself and the business that you are working in
  • You like challenges, are curious and have a strong adaptability to a fast changing environment
  • You have a strong capacity of analysis and synthesis
