You start your career in the VOLVO group by this global 12-month Program which offers a mix on-the-job learning, intensive training modules and project work. Overall, you spend 75% on the job at your home site, and 25% in international training modules in Sweden, France, India and USA.

Join us at Features Verification & Validation at Lyon (Part of Volvo Group) as Simulation Engineer for handling, steering and braking.
WHO WE ARE?
Features, Verification & Validation is a global organization using deep customer knowledge to break down customer features into technical requirements.
We manage validation plans to reach the requested feature level and secure end customer satisfaction.
We also manage the verification plans thanks to world-class physical and virtual tests on the complete vehicle such as durability testing in rigs, fuel economy testing, reliability testing with customers and a variety of simulations and tests with trucks on proving grounds and open roads.
Our skilled and engaged teams are located in Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro and Curitiba.
As Simulation Engineer for Handling, Steering and braking you will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop tools and simulation methods to characterize handling, steering and braking performance
- Use simulation tools to prepare and optimize the outcome of physical tests
- Analyze tests or simulations results
- Support the feature development thanks to the analysis of data issued from vehicle in use
- Propose tests methods optimization
- Work closely with other teammates in vehicle engineering
WHO ARE YOU?
- You hold an engineering degree, PhD or MSc with good knowledge in simulation and data analysis
- You have a firm knowledge of vehicle dynamics
- You are open-minded, action-oriented, perseverant, creative, team player, dynamic and customer oriented
- You are fluent in English
