Site Security Coordinator

Purpose of the position:
He/she develops, coordinates, administers and evaluates the effectiveness of the comprehensive security program(s) with purpose of maintaining our Known Consignor (KC) and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificates for the complete Ghent site.
Your main responsibilities:
• General coordination of all requirements/activities to comply with applicable legislation
• Has perfect knowledge of applicable legislation
• Develops a security program
• Develops training material
• Implement & check Internal Security Procedures, perform audits
• Identify security risks & look for solutions
• Act as single point of contact towards external instances (DGLV, …)
• Coordinate emergency & escalation procedures
• Act as point of contact towards HR concerning new employees & background check
• Develop together with Real Estate & external provider Seris our site’s security performance level
In addition, you propose and implement security procedures & measurements within the distribution center (DC) concerning identified air freight and other goods. You will supervise correct application of the installed security procedures & measurements by all concerned stakeholders & develop them further where required.

Your profile:
• Bachelor degree or equal by experience
• Knowledge of logistic processes
• Analytical skills
• Problem solving mindset
• Punctious
• Strong communicative, coordinative & collaboration skills
• Fluent in English and Dutch
