Test Engineer Durability

At Durability and Safety – Cab & Chassis, we are currently looking for a Test Engineer Durability to strengthen our capabilities to drive the technology of future concepts.
Responsibilities
This position offers you the opportunity to work in a creative and cross-functional environment. We think that you, as well as we, are dedicated to technical innovation and strive to continuously develop and improve our test methods and way of working. The work is varying and challenging, so a flexible mindset is very valuable. As a Test Engineer you will analyze, verify and estimate strength and fatigue life for components and systems in the truck. This is done by testing and measurements in rigs and proving ground.

We believe that to be successful in this position you need to have a genuine interest in the automotive industry and mechanical testing. You have a curiosity to find out how things work and practical work comes natural for you. You have a creative personality with ability to generate ideas, and the analytic mindset of a true problem solver. We also believe that you have/are:
  • A positive mindset
  • Well organized and structured with the ability to drive things to completion
  • Communicative and good at establishing relationships for cooperation
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience from fatigue testing within automotive industry and data acquisition in vehicles is considered a merit
  • Driver license C or CE (truck) is a merit
