Volvo Trucks District Sales Manager

The purpose of this job is to drive sales and assist dealers with business management to assure profitable market growth and customer satisfaction.


  • Achieve profitable market penetration following Corporate and Regional VTNA business plans.
  • Assist dealers with the implementation of annual and on-going business plan.
  • Work and plan with dealer to continuously expand market penetration.
  • Provide ongoing training in Sales, Product Information and dealer communication systems.
  • Assure dealers provide continuous training and equipment to meet changing market demands and expectations.
  • Assure dealers participate in all company programs.
  • Promote Volvo Products through regularly planned visits to direct focused customers.
  • Manage concessions assuring 100% compliance with corporate direction, and provide written lost sales reports on all quotes.
  • Promote Volvo Components in all new orders.
  • Represent VTNA at all assigned industry functions.
  • Manage operating expenses and meet or exceed budget targets.


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in sales and management in heavy truck industry, or related field


  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
