Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to supply engineering techniques supporting all initiative to improve the existing process, introduce new process, manufacturing goals, manpower leveling, as well as, prepare the manufacturing process for the introduction of product changes or new product for the New River Valley production facility in Dublin, VA.

  • Support project teams with powerful technical presentation
  • Support project teams with a well-design and detailed engineering
  • Support document control system
  • Write and manage engineering change notices
  • Support Operation using World Class Manufacturing tools to enhance manufacturing process in compliance with Environment, Health and Safety, Quality and Productivity
  • Persuasively interfaces with plant personnel to accomplish timing, manpower and production goals
  • Applies engineering standards in compliance with company policies
  • Ensure communication and the pride of teamwork/cross functional groups
  • Manage and implement engineering programs as required

Minimum Experience, Education, and Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of Manufacturing Experience or Equivalent experience within an engineering and production environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Catia
Other considerable Experience
  • Automotive Painting Process
  • Industrial Ventilation – VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) / ASU (Air supply Units)
  • RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer)
  • Paint booth and Oven
  • Commissioning
