Sales Executive

Volvo Used Trucks are the dynamic market leader in the retail of used Volvo trucks to end users in East Anglia. Being a Sales Executive with us, the Manufacturer, provides for an exciting and varied day to day role with opportunities for advancement within a global company. There’s a good basic salary with car, uncapped commission, together with all the benefits associated with working for a global brand. This role is based in Ely with travel across the region. Grade 7
THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
You will be working direct for the manufacturer from within the dealer network. Field based, you will have the freedom to be responsible for managing your own diary and appointments. The Volvo Used Trucks team are a diverse department of around 35 people, so you’ll have all the support and comfort that comes from working within a team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities

  • To sell used company stock vehicles to achieve the levels detailed in the annual sales plan for your allocated territory

  • To sell and achieve the targets set for the complete range of products and services in line with the Total Solutions Strategy

  • To actively prospect for new business, whilst developing business and maintaining commercial relationships with existing customers

  • To be able to work effectively with the customer management system and maintain regular updates of data

  • To provide clear and accurate financially sound quotations to customers, taking into consideration their requirements

  • To correctly present all goods and services offered to customers and to comply to company work flow processes in delivering them

  • To manage a retail stock display to ensure professional presentation in order to maximise sales opportunities whilst maintaining the company image

  • Deliver a personal and professional handover at the point of vehicle delivery
