Continuous Integration Developer

At Powertrain E&E (Electrics and Electronics), we work together as a team. Agile (of course), with the mindset to continuously improve our embedded software platform as well as our Continuous Integration frameworks and tools.
We develop electronic solutions for engines, transmissions and full electrical/hybrid powertrains for the complete Volvo Group. The Continuous Integration Team at E&E is currently providing automation solutions for approximately 300 developers.
Right now, we are facing the challenge to develop our next generation embedded SW platform for Electric, Engine and Transmission control units. Hence, there is a need for us to expand and we are now in search for new innovative coworkers.

We are a global team and you will join our Software development center located in Göteborg (Lundby area).
Your role in our agile team:
Design, implement and verify Continuous Integration solutions for the whole Powertrain organization, enabling new capabilities in our in-house developed platform SW and applications.
Provide support for the developers and proactively solve the automation challenges of tomorrow.
Contribute to the evolution of the toolchain, build system and Continuous Integration infrastructure as well as our visualization frameworks for Software statistics and simulations.
You are…
  • Open-minded, pro-active, provide ideas and drive them
  • Software Engineer with a BSc/MSc (or a similar background in Continuous Integration, Computer Science, Embedded Software, Electronics, Physics). We are searching for both junior and senior developers
  • Interested in sustainable Continuous Integration solutions, software architecture, design or verification. Skills in Python, Git, Make, Bazel, Bash, Jenkins etc. are beneficial
  • Proficient in communication in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Enjoying teamwork and also more independent lines of work
