Product Support Tools Specialist

The Product Support organization in sales region EMEA is all about maximizing machine uptime. In our newly created Uptime Center we will continue to support our existing systems but also explore and develop the tools needed in the future. By enhance and optimize the way our tools are used in the field we will unlock potential to support dealers and customers in a way not present in the market by anyone of our competitors.
We will work closely together with our global functions on the requirements we have on tools. We will on a regular basis connect with our dealer network to understand and adjust our way of working to what is expected in the market.
Some of the activities of your daily work can be listed in bullets like below:
  • Resolve technical problems or questions reported through our case handling system CHAIN, e-mail or phone for our internal systems Matris, Techtool and Caretrack
  • Coordinate, communicate and follow up on major issues on said tools together with Dealers, Hubs, Region EMEA functions and Global functions
  • Assist colleagues in their daily trouble shooting
  • Support the development of new system solutions like the Volvo Oil Analysis program along with Dealers, Suppliers and our global functions
You will have a CareTrack and Matris Key User role meaning:
  • 1st level system and process support
  • Support users in the user access process in the region
You will have the Tech Tool Key User role meaning:
  • 1st level system and process support
  • Overall regional responsible for user access to the system
  • Participate in key user group forums
  • Do testing on machines of new releases of Tech Tool on machines in our Customer Center fleet
The goal of our journey is clear. We will be #1 in Uptime in all markets! However, the road to get there is yet to be defined. We will in an agile and fast paced manner work with trial and error to find the ways of working that best supports our dealers and customers.
