We are looking for engaged engineers with the skills, expertise and, more importantly, passion to develop technologies that will create value for our customers. Are you interested in the development and implementation of our future cybersecurity solutions for our vehicles and off-board systems? Then you have here the possibility to take on exciting challenges in an organization committed to finding innovative solutions with state-of-the-art technologies.
The main focus of the group is the development of system-level technologies related to future versions of the electrical and electronic architecture. This means that we shall maintain a holistic perspective on the electronic architecture, rather than focusing on individual hardware or software components, and provide future product development projects with competitive solutions for the EE architecture. Cybersecurity is one such area, and where we now need to strengthen our team.
As a cybersecurity engineer you will engage in developing, researching and maturing new technologies for preventing unauthorized tampering of our on- and off-board systems. Depending on your qualifications, you will have a wide working arena ranging from high-level conceptual development to hands on implementation of cybersecurity solutions including process and methodology. This includes both building early prototypes and demonstrators of cybersecurity solutions as well as their integration into receiving product projects and development processes. You will be part of an ecosystem of cybersecurity experts from a variety of internal and external organisations, such as our own group, different product development organizations in Volvo Group, as well as with our technology partners at universities and suppliers. Experience and interest in other topics related to the EE architecture is an advantage.
To be successful in this position you need to have
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity concepts, preferably through a few years of experience from industry or academic research in the area of cybersecurity
- Ability to work both on a concept level as well as implementing those concepts in prototypes and experimental setups
- Genuine interest in exploring and learning new technologies
- Desire to be in the forefront of technology
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Ability to drive things to completion
- MSc in Electrical engineering or equivalent
- Preferably a few years of practical experience in embedded programming and system design of electrical and embedded systems, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
