Territory Manager VFS Latvia - VFS EMEA, Central East North
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Territory Manager (TM) represents Volvo Financial Services Latvia (VFS LV) through strong, loyal, value-added working relationships with our Volvo Truck, Renault Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Bus distributors and OEM counterparts and our mutual retail customers. TM is responsible for the execution of the commercial activities of the Volvo Financial Services (VFS) in Latvia to ensure the achievement of VFS sales, yield, market penetration, customer satisfaction and productivity objectives. TM’s activities are almost exclusively directly related to actual sales and are customer facing. TM works effectively as an integral part of VFS operations to provide service to all stakeholders in the best possible way. TM must achieve their measurable sales and operational results and display specified core skills and behaviors.
Execute sales & marketing strategies towards the achievement of the respective Business Area profitability and sales objectives
Execute the captive approach and sales & marketing process according to defined standards
Maximize growth and new business development with a strong focus on interest spread, fee income and After Tax Return on Equity (ATROE) while increasing the quality of the VFS LV portfolio
Systematically manage deliveries, penetration and managed assets to ensure business performance
Manage local key accounts to achieve goals and develop business relationships
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance service offerings using local knowledge and customer relationships
Build strong working relationships with the respective Business Area sales team
Implement the local commercialisation of new products and services
Proactive selling fee income services at the Point of Sale (POS)
Proactive POS quoting to appropriate segments in line with pricing strategy
Increase market coverage by improving volume and effectiveness of quotations using VFS quotation software application
Execute campaigns and generate transactions meeting business plan and supporting Business Area and dealers objectives, ensuring alignment with company regulatory and tax requirements
Assist in the development of a quality and balanced credit portfolio
Provision of assistance regarding debt collection and risk management activity as and when requested
Review, report and follow up the performance of service performance / contracts providing feedback to appropriate VFS and product staff
Assist in accurate reporting of performance and forecasting of sales performance and its reporting within Latvia
Coach more junior field sales force in the achievement of sales and yield objectives
Actively participates as a member of the VFS Baltic team to share best practices and procedures and serve our customers and dealers in the best possible way
Follows all Volvo Group and VFS employee practices and policies including, but not limited to, the Volvo Group Code of Conduct, Travel and Entertainment and Company Car policies
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
University degree typically not required but knowledge of Business, Finance or Marketing is needed
Typically, minimum of 3 years of experience in selling financial products related to commercial vehicles and equipment financing and managing performing credit portfolio
Knowledge of commercial vehicle and business solution market
Proven expertise in financial analysis including the ability to analyze financial statements and operations
Understands the principles of leasing; tax aspects, cash management, off-balance sheet, and lease versus buy decision making
Typically, minimum of 2 years of sales training and management experience
Previous experience in working in an international environment

Fluent in Latvian language
Advanced level in reading, writing and speaking English and Russian
