Role of Application SW Architect is to successfully implement and deliver solutions, that are stable, reliable, scalable, well documented, and of high quality. You will work on the core services and components of our telematics platform, services related to provisioning of vehicles. As Application Software SW Architect, you will also be mentor and subject matter expert in our team.

WHO ARE YOU?
As Application Software Architect you design, develop, verify, and support applications using Java technologies. Your tasks would include: coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Builds, confirms, and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the Product Owners. Working in a highly collaborative and teaming environment this person will develop and execute unit- and component tests, as well as participate in developing integration test together with integrating teams. You will create technical and design documentation in support of new development, upgrades and enhancements. You should understand and master standard web practices to aid their team towards utilizing new technologies, engaging in appropriate project management & system development methodologies, as well as testing best-practices. According to the DevOps practice, you shall also maintain and operate our components and services according to SLA. The work shall be carried out in our premises at TRIDIB (Bagmane Tech park) Bangalore
Technical competencies :
- Experience in programming Languages: Java 7&8
- Experience in development frameworks :JQuery, Spring and EJB, JMS, JUNIT, Hibernate
- Experience in build server: Jenkins
- Experience in tools: Maven, Eclipse, GIT
- Experience in DB: PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Nice to have: Rest, Fitnesse ,Websphere MQ , JBoss A-MQ, Nexus, WireMock, Gatling
- Experience of working agile
- Experience in continuous delivery
- Preferably prior experience of telematics
- Jira – Scrum/Kanban board and CR/bug management
- Confluence/SharePoint - Information
