Diagnostic Engineer

You will be working in a small team of six people that has the shared responsibility to produce diagnostic content for our workshop tools and systems, wiring diagrams for our vehicles and develop our diagnostic strategies for the future. Your main focus will be to develop diagnostic solutions for our workshops, creating fault tracing instructions for the constantly changing electrical system in our vehicles. You will also be responsible for our log data systems, ensuring that systems works and the data quality is not compromised. You will need broad foundation in product and system knowledge utilized within Volvo Buses to take this position.
We cover all products within Volvo Buses globally, and often work cross-functionally in projects with colleagues in other departments, other companies within the Volvo group, and on other sites. You will also be expected to represent the group in different fora’s and other discussions around diagnostic development, log data, as well as help with cross functional development of our electrical system and components

  • BSc or MSc degree in mechatronics/electrical/engine engineering or equivalent
  • Great communication skills in English and Swedish
  • Volvo Group system experience
