Technical Information & Virtual Specialist (CGI)

We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic and diverse team in Gothenburg to secure the product and system knowledge necessary for Product Design to deliver Computer Generated Imagery (CGI).

As Technical Information and Virtual Specialist, you have product and system knowledge to configure, retrieve, create, store and package the virtual content for CGI, VR and publications. You will manage the VCE CGI order office, lead and delegate work flow to internal and external suppliers.
WHO ARE YOU?
- Min 5 years proven experience from Volvo Group product development with knowledge of design, packaging, engineering system solutions and integration
- Degree in a related design discipline or equivalent
- User knowledge in Volvo systems and tools eg. KOLA, PDM link, SmarTeam and PTC (Windchill)
- Proficient in Catia V5, Creo
- Broad knowledge of required 3D software’s and understanding the creation process of CGI and VR
- Experience from Design Studio environment and Product Data Management systems is an advantage
- Good collaboration and networking skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
