Prevost Wins Pléiade Award

Prevost won the award in the “Outstanding performance outside Quebec” category at the Pléiades Gala organized by the Lévis chamber of commerce. The distinction underscores the years of effort and promotion across Canada and the United States that enabled the Quebec manufacturer of upscale commercial coaches to carve out an enviable place in the North American market.

Prevost’s market share has grown considerably in the United States over the last year, in part due to its strategy of fostering the commuter market in California. Wi-Fi-equipped Prevost coaches make it possible for riders from California’s tech companies to work as they commute. Customer service is also part of this success: in 2017, four more service centers opened their doors, for a total of 14 service centers strategically located across North America. Prevost’s dedication to improving its vehicles and maintaining the highest brand standards was a deciding factor in the jury’s decision.

“We are very proud to receive this prestigious distinction, all the more since it comes from Quebec, where our plant has been located for more than 90 years. Besides, nothing compares to local recognition when it comes to driving reach beyond our borders. This prize confirms that the strategy to promote Quebec expertise in coach manufacturing is a success,” said Emmanuelle Toussaint, Vice President of Legal, Regulatory and Public Affairs at Prevost.

Prevost’s mission aims to reach and maintain a position of leadership by designing and building coaches and conversion coaches that provide unparalleled levels of customer satisfaction. Over the years, the company has remained focused on reaching new heights in terms of customer satisfaction through continuous innovation, quality product, and constant attention through unrivaled after-sales service.
