The investment included a 10,000 square-foot expansion, bringing the footprint to 35,000 square feet, and the addition of 12 service bays, totaling 24 service bays.

Purchased by Tri-State in 2014, the Springfield site, located off U.S. I-44 at 2527 N. Eastgate Ave., offers $1.3 million in parts inventory and has 40 employees, four of whom are Master Technicians. The full-service dealership offers new truck sales, leasing, parts, service and body shop repair. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Founded in 1945 by F.A. Maddox, Sr., Tri-State Mack originally had seven employees at its Memphis location. Today, the dealership has grown to 360 employees and nine full-service locations in Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi. Tri-State also has a successful leasing company, Tri-State Leasing, with many locations throughout the southeast.
