What is the best thing about being part of the Volvo Group?
Working with people of course! Together, we can accomplish so much more than as individuals. The best part about working within the Volvo Group is to see how passionate everybody is about their job and how they strive to make their job even better. Every day is different but that makes the Volvo Group interesting.

In short, what have you done so far?
Up until now, I have been working on a traffic plan at the Ghent plant; it is comparable with the traffic rules on the street. It is very interesting for a logistics engineer like me, there are so many transportations linked to this production plant.

However, it is not only the most obvious to make it more efficient, it also goes hand in hand with safety because you also have people walking around in the plant. Safety is a big priority for the Volvo Group and it truly feels rewarding to work on this topic! I have learned a lot already and I am looking forward to the rest of it as well.

Why would you recommend someone to apply for the Operations Graduate Program?
I believe it is a nice way of getting to know the company on a completely different level and learning so many new things. This is definitely something that will stick with you for the rest of your life; the people you meet and the connections you make. The reason I chose to apply is that I was looking for a challenge and do something different from what the ordinary employment gives. Let us be honest; it is one! And I’m so happy to be part of it.
