Remanufacturing requires significantly lower consumption of natural resources, energy and contributes less CO2 emissions. For these reasons, remanufactured components are an increasingly important part of our spare parts business, keeping our trucks running for second and third product owners.
What is the job?
As a Maintenance Mechanic on our team, we’ll count on you to install equipment and keep our building and machinery in good working order. You’ll leverage your technical expertise and analytical/troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair:
- Machines and machine tools
- Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems (including 480 volt, 3-phase)
- Gasoline and LP engines (forklifts)
- Pipe fitting
- Ventilation, heating and air conditioning
Who are you?
You bring a minimum of 2 years/8,000 hours on-the-job previous experience in the areas mentioned above, as well as expertise using the applicable tools of the trade. You will have a high school diploma (or GED) or Associate’s degree, and the ability to complete all necessary documentation in English. We’ll provide an opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge by administering a Maintenance Mechanic Exam – with written and practical elements.
