Our Architecture and Master Data team within Volvo Group IT has the end-to-end responsibility for all development, delivery, and support of IT solutions for the whole Volvo Group.
As our Architect and developer, you will lead the way of Volvo Groups' Master Data area. You will work in a global environment that provides opportunities to develop yourself both professionally and personally. Our team is based in Gothenburg, Poland, India and China. You will get the opportunity to work in an agile surrounding on an exciting journey where we are about to transform the digital experience for all our end users.
In this role you will be a key partner of the business transformation within Master Data area.. You will provide advanced expertise and techniques to identify and design new business service opportunities. Also enable digital transformation by promoting the use of digital enablers and strategic partnerships to maximize value creation.
In your daily work, you will be involved in pre-studies, process definitions, end user studies, stakeholder requirements needs, modelling and design ideation to find the optimal solution, consistent and efficient usage of solution and requirement management. You must have a good understanding of the business goals and stakeholder needs.
As part of a team, you will work with various changes/activities such as releases, enhancements/new development, support and other runtime and project activities. All in an agile set-up.
Who are you?
- Open-minded, modern software development enthusiast with continuous improvement mindset following market trends
- Have experience with modern architectural styles (including micro services internal and external communication, observability, deployment strategies etc)
- Have experience with cloud native development methods
- Have good knowledge in Cloud based Development, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Have knowledge in identity and access management framework (e.g. PING and Azure AD) for APIs and general integration experience (e.g. messaging via IBM WMQ)
- API platforms, Gateways, developer’s portal and management’s portal, preferably IBM APIC
- Experience of API design patterns and development best practices
- Be comfortable to communicate on different levels in an enterprise organization
- Strong product ownership mentality
