We are looking for a Tools Specialist to join our team working with the Volvo Group IT common development tools. In our team you play a critical role in providing technical support for day-to-day operations, tool integration, automation support, change management and application monitoring of our development tools utilized by our Digital and IT community.
Our team is also supporting our DevOps pipelines, so good understanding in DevOps tool setup is of great value.
We work in an agile setup and as a team member you need an ability to collaborate to achieve our goals. We trust that you have good communication skills and a strong ability to be self-managed.

In our day-to-day work we support our organization and these are some of our usual tasks:
Troubleshoot application issues and security flaws and provide remediation.
Collaborate around Production upgrade events, all the way from planning to communicating the completion of upgrade)
Knowledge share and document knowledge as part of continuous improvement and continuous learning
Delivering virtual trainings to beginners/management level
Knowledge in Configuration & Release management"
Previous administration experience from common development tools (Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, GIT/Gerrit, Jenkins, SonarQube and BlackDuck) is preferred.
We believe that you need to have knowledge of tools administration on advanced level (ex. Jira & Confluence, Sonarqube, Jenkins, Gerrit)
Experience in automation / writing scripts (Perl, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting)
Knowledge in ServiceNow is plus, as we utilize this for incident management.
Knowledge on GitHub and Azure DevOps is a plus, and we would value previous experience in working in scrum methodology.
