You will use modern powertrain multi core controllers and its associated electronics in order to develop a large set of low level and middleware functions (input/outputs drivers, communication drivers, scheduling, power up/down, diagnostic, link with application layer…).
Your solution will be immediately used in regular propulsion systems as well as emerging one using hydrogen and electrification technologies.
The group is organized in a cross-functional way according to Agile/SCRUM principles; where close collaboration with the customer, adapting and improving its way of working as well as self-development is valued.
The Electrical & Electronics department design and provide embedded systems to all Volvo group vehicles: trucks, bus, construction equipment and boats.
The team is located in Lyon (France) where every day we see growing our future modern facilities which will enable an effective cross functional work within the research and development area. You will be also continuously collaborating with our colleagues on the main Volvo sites such as Göteborg (Sweden), Hagerstown (USA), Curitiba (Brazil) and Bangalore (India).
