Senior Buyer Contingent Workforce North America

POSITION DUTIES: Lead contingent workforce segment in NA, areas include Engineering Services, IT consultants, Product design Studio, Temporary Labor, and Management Advisory Services. Portfolio spend of approx. $120MUSD annual. Responsible for implementing global strategy within these segments. Drive commercial negotiations to secure best cost, Ensure efficiency across multiple supply chains. Supervise a team of 3 Buyers. Create, negotiate and execute Global Master Services Agreements that cover the Volvo multi-brands organization across the world, stand-alone agreements, NDAs, Country Agreements, SOW, Supplier Specification agreements and price agreements with productivity clause. Position is critical in terms of resource selection and execution in emerging technologies like electro mobility, connectivity and automation, software and design.

REQUIRMENTS: Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Purchasing Management or related field and 5 years of experience as a Buyer or Purchasing in a Manufacturing industry. At least 3 of the 5 years must be in Indirect Products and Services especially emerging technologies. Experience working with an international supply chain with total spend in excess of $50MUSD annually. Understanding of the manufacturing process of heavy duty trucks. Occasional travel to suppliers is required
