As the Logistics Manager, you will hold an important role in the Hagerstown Plant Organization. You will report directly to a second line managerial level referred to as an Area Manager. You will support the short and mid-term success of the function and the plant. The Supply Chain organization has approximately 200 employees today.
Main activities and responsibilities for these rolesManage your Logistics operation against set safety, quality, delivery and financial targets by leading and coaching your team
Continue the implementation of Volvo Production System (VPS), which means to implement standardized ways of working, develop the organization and achieve contribution from all employees
Full accountability and ownership of your team’s development, project follow up, midterm road map (0-1 year) and policy deployment from plant to operator level
