Electric System Engineer (m/f/d)

Who are we?

We, the Control Systems team, develop our machines from A to Z. This is something we do not achieve alone, but together with other teams at our own and other locations. It starts with the initial design, the creation of the layout and extends through verification and validation to the production start-up in our own production. To this end, we use virtual simulations in 3D, define machine functions and develop individual components as well as the software for our products. Of course, product maintenance and continuous improvement of our machines and working methods are also part of our tasks.

We are a multinational and multicultural team; colleagues with unique experiences, knowledge and opinions. Open feedback culture and respect for each other are an essential cornerstone for our success.

What are your tasks with us?
  • You define the electric requirements together with the product responsible persons and handle electric components in our PDM system.
  • You design in CSD environment and are responsible for wire harnesses and other electric components.
  • You work in new development projects as well in the product maintenance and always secure the right quality and safety of the machines.
  • As an engineer, you will not only work at the computer, but also have a direct connection to the machines: for example, when building prototypes and by collaborating with colleagues from the production line.

What you bring along:
  • University degree with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • High sense of responsibility and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Strong team orientation, good self-management and the willingness to share knowledge and to continuously develop yourself
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 or other CAD programs and experience working with PDM systems
  • Experience in wire harness layout in vehicles and experience in the construction equipment business is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge
