Invoicing Clerk

Based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire - Permanent Position

Due to an increase in business levels across our Network, an exciting opportunity has arisen in our central team for an experienced vehicle industry invoicing clerk to carry out the Company's invoicing and administration within the Retail Warranty department.

Monday to Friday Salary 08.00 - 17.00 (40 hrs) with some Saturday working at month end if applicable

Job Summary:

We require the following skills to assist in effectively and efficiently managing the Company’s Retail Administration and Claim Systems

Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:
  • To carry out the network's invoicing efficiently across Retail, Warranty & Contract using our in house systems .
  • To ensure all invoice queries are quickly and effectively resolved
  • Create pro forma’s from work instruction to obtain order numbers before invoicing
  • To advise the Depot Manager of any cost rejection so that appropriate action can be taken
  • To ensure all Technicians’ paperwork is completed accurately to maximise profitability
  • To understand relevant systems relating to the Service Department including changes and on-going developments. Warranty / National contract procedures
  • To liaise with Parts department regarding materials to be discarded.
  • Effectively monitor the Work in Progress (WIP) reports to ensure Workshop instructions can be cleared as soon as possible.

Required knowledge & experience:
  • Vehicle Dealership invoicing experience is preferable but not essential
  • Excellent proven experience of data input within an invoicing environment
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
