Project Manager Aftermarket / Aftermarket Readiness Leader (m/f/d)

The Diagnostics & Maintainability Engineering (D&ME) department is a main contributor to high machine availability, low Total Cost of Ownership and high customer satisfaction. Our mission is to increase profits for customers during the entire machine lifecycle by increasing the machine availability and making the operators, dealers and mechanics more efficient.

In the Diagnostics & Maintainability team within the global D&ME department, we manage the after-market support for our product portfolio in the domain of Diagnostics, Maintainability & Aftermarket Readiness.

In this position you will lead the aftermarket preparation and secure aftermarket business development in new product development and product improvement projects. You will manage the aftermarket sub-project in a number of larger machine or soft offer projects.

What are your tasks with us?
•You secure aftermarket readiness on-time, on-cost, on-target.
•You monitor aftermarket needs in the machine/component project team.
•You lead the sub-project cross-functional aftermarket global team, to ensure Aftermarket Readiness at launch.
•You observe & evaluate aftermarket project risks and escalating issues when needed.
•You will facilitate trade-off discussions to enable the right business decisions.
•You secure that all stakeholders are prepared when launching new products, all the way out to regions & dealers.
•You are compiling white-book and project learning for continuous improvement.
What you should bring along:
•Degree (MSc or BSc) in engineering or equivalent experience.
•Experience within automotive industry or construction equipment.
•Knowledge in product development and product maintenance process.
•Empower co-workers to work as a team.
•Persistance in eliminating potential roadblocks to pave the way for project success.
•High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and boundaries.
•Customer oriented mindset.
•Good network and communication skills.
•German and English language skills.
