Logistics Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work with our logistics and manufacturing applications, including ERP systems. Additionally, you will be designing and developing programs to solve business problems.

The Logistics business area is full of data collection, which requires developing solutions for data integration particular to Material Planning, Transport Material, Packaging and Transport Products.


  • Work with the different stakeholders to integrate all business data within Logistics into models that support fast decisions, share options and visualize key business elements

  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends, patterns and relationships in complex data sets.

  • Define, articulate, and create solutions that help make data interpretation and relationship identification manageable across many different data sources at Volvo Construction Equipment.

  • Develop visualization of the data to support decision making

  • Collaborate with our IT department to best utilize all available networks within the Volvo Group

  • Maintain and support existing production applications and operations.

  • Support with landed cost calculation in sourcing investigations and projects in different internal forums following cost calculation and global principles

  • Utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to optimize processes and become the subject matter expert in order to train others.

  • Locate and define continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Build and support cross-functional relationships with internal partners and drive effective communication channels supporting logistics management.

Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, any other business-related field, or equivalent work experience

  • A minor in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlikview, Qliksense, Tableu, Oracle BI

  • CLTD or CPIM certification is a plus.

  • SAP, Office 365 and other Automation and business intelligence software knowledge is also a plus.
