About the Position
As a permanent full-time Production Spray Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and spray-painting heavy duty truck frames.

Employees in this position receive general supervision and follow standardized processes, while suggesting process improvements along the way. A Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. As well as mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results.

The position is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of our customers and plant operations.

You will be trained in our Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) by a Team Leader. Each SOP is developed by the Team Leader and digitally maintained in our computer networks. This position reports to a Supervisor.


Work Schedule & Shift: Monday – Friday (Hours subject to change based on production demands and seniority. Overtime is required: overtime is paid for all time worked in excess of 8 hours daily and for all time worked on Saturday, double-time is paid for all time worked on Sunday.)

Main activities and responsibilities for this role
Working in fast paced production environment, with emphasis on safety quality and delivery.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of using spray painting equipment
  • Ability to apply Paint Safely
  • Demonstrate the proper use of proper PPE equipment
  • Basic understanding of measuring and mixing paint components
  • Ability to demonstrate paint application.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to make adjustment to spray paint equipment
To be eligible, each candidate must:
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis
  • Be able to work in a standing, bending, and/or stretching position
  • Be able to work any company assigned shift – second or third shift
  • Have a High School Diploma/equivalent or higher education
  • Manufacturing experience or a general understanding of a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate should have automotive or equivalent spray-painting experience.
Candidate will have to pass the painter interview, written test, and practical application.
