The SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) is looking for an SAP Integration Technology Consultant to work in Gothenburg, Sweden or Lyon, France to develop SAP technical integrations for our current SAP environments and to help us to adopt modern integration technologies in line with our ongoing S4HANA journey.

The SAP CoE consists of around 50 developers and architects plus 20 delivery and solution leaders based in India, Sweden, France and Poland, so you will be part of an experienced team in an international and multicultural environment.

Within Volvo Group, we operate 40 different productive SAP on-premise systems and SAP cloud SaaS applications. More than 400 employees and contractors work in the SAP area at Volvo and 75,000 employees use the systems.

Your role would be to support the integration aspects of our current challenge: Support multiple SAP modernization projects by delivering new integrations or by renovating existing ones. This requires introduction of many integration practices in the SAP area at Volvo. You will work within the SAP CoE which manages IT activities and drive change initiatives in the SAP area for Volvo Group. Our developers take part in global assignments in Volvo Group, as well as support internal SAP innovation initiatives, tech watch and creation of frameworks and guidelines.
 
As our employee you will:   
  • Manage agreed technical scope during projects and take ownership of architectural solutions and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop new interfaces / integrations in a secure way and in line with Volvo Architecture guidelines: Work as an SAP integration developer in the SAP domain where you cooperate with other SAP CoE members, our internal customers, Volvo Cyber Security teams and our infrastructure Provider HCL
  • Contribute to tech watch and pre-study activities, where findings are presented in the global SAP communities at Volvo.
  • Produce clear solution documentation and landscape designs.
  • Working with agile development teams and delivery architects through all phases of the project & solution lifecycle.
We are looking for you if you have: 
  • +5 years of experience in SAP Integration domain. (SAP PI, Idocs, Integration pattern concepts…) and non SAP technologies (IBM MQ, IBM API Connect, Microsoft AZURE , WebServices…)
  • Experience in modern SAP integration technologies: SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, Cloud Connector.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, in particular for problem solving&troubleshooting activities.
  • Issue management, prioritization and ability to provide pragmatic direction which is consistent with longer-term strategy.
  • Proactive, positive attitude and have a drive to deliver results.
  • Able to demonstrate resilience, flexibility and adapt to changing schedules and priorities
  • Clear and creative thinking in designs
Educational Qualification & SAP Certification: 
  • Full time Masters/Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent
