HGV Technician - Late Shift - 4 days

HGV Technicians!! Do you fancy a fixed shift over 4 days with every Saturday, Sunday and Monday off?

Our prestigious Chiltern Dealership based in Dunstable is currently looking for 2 qualified HGV Technicians with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work on a fixed Late shift:-
Late Shift hours:
Tues - Fri working 10am to 10pm (44 hours) paying up to £20.00 pr hr (up to £45,760) + overtime paid at time and a half above 44 hours
We are also offering as signing bonus of £2000 payable after a successful 3 month probation period
We offer IRTEC & IVR qualifications via our inhouse training school and the opportunity to gain a Heavy Goods Licence.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
• Electrical fitting of accessories
• Carrying out pre-Mot vehicles inspections to a high standard
• Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
• Participation in call out and breakdown rota
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately

• C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
• Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
• Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
• Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
