IT Infrastructure Delivery Leader

INTRODUCTION
Group IT – Infrastructure and OnSite Services (IOS) is a global entity of around 700 people across most of the Volvo Group's global locations to manage and deliver IT infrastructure services used by more than 80,000 employees.
The Business Infrastructure Management (BIM) department and function within IOS is responsible for providing IT infrastructure and services to all Volvo Group entities:
  • End Users Services*: related to the "IT workstation of users": client workstations and equipment, telephony, helpdesk, applications, Microsoft 365 collaboration environment, Teams, SharePoint, ...)
  • Cores Services*: common and shared IT services (Wan, Lan, WiFi, .. ), printing and Identity management services.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a Business Infrastructure Manager, you are the representative and operational interface for the entire EUCS catalogue.
You maintain a close relationship with the IT managers of the operational entities who are responsible for requests to make EUCS and their support available on their operational perimeter.
You identify and/or support with IT managers specific needs in order to contribute to their definitions and/or evolutions with other IOS departments.
As part of the EUCS life cycle, you communicate decisions, priorities, and information about projects, and share opportunities and risks.
Role, mission & context
The scope of activity is focused on the Renault and Volvo Trucks dealer environment for the following countries: France, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Algeria, and United Arab Emirates, as well as the Renault Trucks headquarters in Lyon.
You report hierarchically to the head of the EMEA Trucks Delivery department and functionally to the main BIM of Renault and Volvo Trucks.
The mission is to ensure that IT services meet the objectives of the business entities in your perimeter, which includes:
  • Check, instruct, prioritize, and plan requests until delivery.
  • Manage escalations vis-à-vis our partner HCL and internal IT teams.
  • Coordinate the on-premises IT contact community and local operations.
  • Manage the deployment and implementation of new IT services.
  • Promote efficient use of existing IT services.
  • Answering financial questions about EUCS
PROFILE SOUGHT
Experience of at least 3 years in the design and/or delivery and/or support of IT infrastructures in an international business context.
Knowledge of automotive industry processes and commercial and after-sales solutions is an asset.
Required skills:
  • BAC + 5 in the field of IT.
  • Knowledge of EUSC, with an "advanced" level in one or more fields.
  • Business-oriented, ability to manage interactions between stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to learn in the face of new problems/demands.
  • Interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and French
