Introduction

Our Production Logistics department supports the Volvo Group regarding international and local transport. In addition, the department also supports the packaging of incoming materials and outgoing materials for transport and storage of transit materials for the different plants.

You will join a dynamic and diverse operational team of 20 colleagues where service, quality and precision are key. Collaboration within the team and with fellow teams from other countries and external partners is essential to achieve our goals. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, as is the continuous pursuit of improvement.

Your ideal job

Main goal: follow up and organize the transport of parts from the material suppliers to delivery to the end customers and take proactive action to deliver everything in time and guarantee production.
Your tasks include:
Customer service, you are the central contact for handling all operational problems, reported deviations and questions from the customer.
You are responsible for the organization of rush transports
You handle transport deviations (late deliveries, missed collections, missing documents)
In terms of administration, you also provide support in terms of customs and invoicing.
You follow up on the performance of the external parties.
